Can and his mother Derya live an ordinary country life. But after a while his mother starts to exhibit strange behavior. She seems to suffer from memory loss and speaks in ancient languages. Intrigued by Derya's enigmatic behavior Can begins to wonder about his mother's childhood. The investigation leads the two of them to Derya's hometown in the Aegean part of Turkey. There, with the help of local imam Can finds Asaf, a man who practices ancient Jewish mysticism. But Asaf by trying to break the curses and cast out the evil spirits, walks deeper and deeper into darkness.
